A Masquerade
A Masquerade - the Galah mimic the the colours of the Magnolia and are almost in camouflage.
The colour palette used for the background gives the sense of the cooler season when the blooms have appeared on bare branches and the leaves just begin to appear.
This work is mixed media combining both watercolour and ink.
