Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time, according to Australian Geographic these beautiful flamingos resided in our Australian outback. "For at least 20 million years the big pink birds fed on vast inland lakes, until a drying of the outback ended their reign, perhaps a million years ago.  I was drawn to not only the colourful graceful birds but the perfectly composed image and its pattern of light and dark shapes.
