Painting from Life

Painting from life adds so much to the journey of a painting. Of course it is not always possible and so we do need a good collection of reference material.

My hubby came home with a small piece of branch from a blossom tree, it's brand new flowers showing us Spring is on it's way.  

I demonstrate my process of painting from life and making choices about composition, what to add to create a unique and original work.
