Playtime with Bertie

Having just purchased a few new pigments from Holbein I was keen to test them in a painting. An even more exciting addition to the studio came in the form of a box of sea salt from Tasmania. Whilst doing the supermarket shopping I was approached by the sales people introducing a new product. I didn't want to taste test the Tasman Salt but knew it would be a good buy to do some experimenting with pigment.

A great highland cow portrait of Bertie,  shared by Ali Thom was the perfect subject for my playing today.
