Nothing beats painting a floral from life. The sun is shining and the Iceberg roses are putting on a wonderful Spring time show.
I have a treasured white ceramic jug artisan made in Italy:
Ceramiche I.M.A. is located in Montelupo Fiorentino where the art of producing ceramic established itself in The Middle Ages. The fortune of this center is linked to its position along the river Arno's valley, with its clay deposits, essential for the production of ceramic.
It has a wide neck but when I have enough flowers I love to use it and today it was perfect for my "white theme". I painted with a view of the standard Icebergs from my studio window, referencing the jug over flowing with freshly picked flowers next to my painting table.

Using hi white 425gsm cold press paper by Saunders Waterford provided the brilliant white and with transparent pigments it retained the light through the wet into wet soft washes.
Colours:
Burnt Sienna, Quin Gold, Shadow Green, Cobalt Blue, Bright Violet and Green Gold.
